Fire Prevention EducationWhile we do respond to emergencies, a big part of what we do is educating the public on fire prevention. If we're at the station and you have any questions, please stop by, we'd love to see you.

FAQ's
When do we respond to calls?
Answer : The Ivyland Fire Company is fully staffed by volunteers. We respond 24/7
How long will it take for the fire company to get to my house?
Our fire company's average "out the door" (response) time is 4 minutes.
How is the fire company funded?
Your Tax Dollars! We don't make much off tax money. That's why we ask for your support at events such as the pancake breakfasts, coin tosses, and when we send out the fund drive letters.
How can i get involved?
We are always looking for volunteers! Please visit our volunteer section on this website.
when should I call for an emergency?
If you think that you have an emergency, either fire or EMS, don't hesitate to call 911. We would rather respond and make sure there is no emergency then get called later when it may be too late. We respond to activated fire alarms, activated CO (Carbon Monoxide) alarms, hazardous materials, vehicle accidents, all medical calls, special assignments to assist the pubic, fumes (Smell of fire) and of course actual working fires. There is a saying, and it is "When in doubt call us out." We are here for you, in that time of need.
Will i get a bill from the ambulance and the fire company?
No, we do not bill for QRS services provided to the borough of Ivyland. While we can't speak to the squad's billing policies, you will never receive a bill for QRS response.
How We're Helping
Every Monday night, our members are out training to help better ourselves and the services that we provide for the community. We train to the highest standard in both Fire Suppression and Emergency Medical Services. We are here for you, 24/7.
